Do not use it in conjunction with a regimen of antibiotics as this probiotic will weaken the medication as it instead kills the multitude of beneficial bacteria in this probiotic, and it will not be as effective in wiping out the pathogenic bacteria it was prescribed for in the first place.

STORAGE
Storage should be refrigerated below 40° F (4° C) but not frozen to ensure a 3-year shelf life. Live probiotics like AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ should always be refrigerated & well-sealed for maximum viability. HOWEVER, AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ remains stable for 12 months, if stored at room temps of 70 degrees or less. AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ has a 3-year shelf-life if stored in a refrigerator.
Please keep bagged and/or capped, closed well, and placed back in the bottle with the cap tightly well-sealed to prevent moisture from entering the product as moisture of any kind will ‘activate’ the live microorganisms and cause clumping. KEEP REFRIGERATED AT ALL TIMES! Do not freeze AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
DAILY FOODS & NESTLING FOOD/HAND-REARING FORMULA WHEN USED AS A DRY ADDITIVE (BEST WAY TO ADMINISTER):
AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ may be added to food by lightly sprinkling on top of pellets, moist foods, dry seeds, oily song or condition seeds, and soaked or sprouted seeds. In order for AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ to stick better to the pellets or seed, spray an organic hemp seed oil lightly first, then mix well with a fork and finally sprinkle AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ on top and mix again so that it sticks to the pellets or seed. As the bird positions the seed with its beak and tongue, they clean off and ingest the probiotic blend with ease. Sprinkle AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ lightly on top of prepared nestling or hand-rearing formulas or even chop, mix well then serve or refrigerate. Finally, feel free to sprinkle AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ on all fruits, greens, veggies, and other foodstuffs and mixes, without fear of overdose as follows with ALL birds:
DAILY USAGE:
· Small Birds (Finches, canaries budgies, etc.) ……………………….….. ¼ enclosed measure or a light dusting or sprinkling over all foods.
· Medium birds (Poultry, Pigeons, Game Birds, Conures, cockatiels, lovebirds, doves, mynah, etc.) …...½ enclosed measure overall foods.
· Large birds (Macaws, cockatoos, toucans, etc.) …………………………¾ enclosed measure sprinkled over all foods.
· Large zoo birds (flamingos, vultures, hawks, owls, eagles, penguins, etc.). Adjust daily dosage according to size sprinkled over all foods.
DRINKING WATER USAGE OF ANY PROBIOTIC IS NOT RECOMMENDED, ADVISED OR ENCOURAGED
WHY IS AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ NOT RECOMMENDED TO USED IN THE DRINKING WATER? For one, it does not mix at all. Note that though there are brands of water-soluble probiotic mix on the market that state that they can be added to the water or already come liquefied or in a gel, the solution is most likely dead if not kept refrigerated and has very short expiration dates. If any brand of probiotic, water-soluble or not is added to the water, within 1/2 an hour, any bacteria, if actually alive to begin with, begins to multiply, and since there is not sufficient prebiotic (food) to sustain that rapidly increasing population, they just as quickly begin to die, decay and pollute the water thus having a reverse or negative effect as the pathogenic bacteria begin to develop and multiply. In fact, within an hour if you remove the drinker, you can feel their slimy growth on the inside of the water receptacle!
AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ LIVE, 100% GMO-FREE, 100% ORGANIC probiotic, prebiotic, essential enzyme, amino acid blend is recommended to be used daily by adding to or sprinkling onto any prepared nestling foods, soft foods, or egg food mixes which are used the same day or if made in batches and stored frozen then refrigerated. Add the AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ AFTER thawing any frozen prepared foods or any foods and before administering and allow 5 minutes to ‘activate’ as it allows the bacteria to multiply. Again, one may lightly spray an organic hemp seed spray onto pellets or seed mixes, then mix well then sprinkle AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ on it and again mix well so that the probiotic adheres well to the pellets or seed. It is then ingested as the bird(s) roll the seed around and position it in their mouth to consume the pellet or hull the seed.
During periods of extreme stress, dosage should be doubled for the first 10 days of use. Please note that AVI-CULTURE-2-PLUS™ is not a medication nor is it a cure for any disease for it is primarily used to assist as a preventative by helping build a strong immune system.
Prior to the use of this or any probiotic or medication off the shelf or online, if any bird appears ill or puffy, it is always best to consult your veterinarian & suggest a fecal and/or other culture be taken & analyzed.
